It didn't have to happen now
Why now, not now
Of all days, why today?
My life was bad enough to begin with
More problems to sort through
More people to talk with
No, I don't have the time
I don't have the patience needed
I'm tired enough!
Why me! Why now?
Of all things to happen,
Did it have to be this?
I'm trying
Really trying
But my strength is lessening
Each moment it seems to get weaker
How will I be able to survive
Through this horrid accident?
All I want to know now
It is not why me!
It is only why now?!
