I am in the shadows peering out at the world through my dark glasses.
You pass by and dont even break stride to say hi.
You won't bother to take the time your way to afraid I would commit a crime.
You know I am there but you just don't seem to care.

I am in the shadows yelling out at the world thru the swirling darkness.
You hear my shouts but they only reinforce your doubts.
You are afriad that my rantings and ravings could reactivate some
primemortial cravings.
You know I am there but you just don't seem to care.

I am in the shadows extending my hand to the dark membrane that is known as man.
You see me reach but it makes you studder in your speach.
You are afraid that the pain in endure could infact be your cure.
You know I am there but you just don't seem to care.

You know I am there BUT it's not that you care your afraid after all with one bad fall you could lose it all and become one with me in the SHADOWS.
