The Car Accident Drew Blanton
In 1973,
There was a little boy who was me.
I was run over by a car,
But I'm still alive by far!
In a coma was I;
The accident's the reason why.
To the hospital was I taken,
Where whoever thought I'd die was mistaken.
For about two months I in my coma lay,
Then suddenly came a better day.
On that day I woke,
And this poem is no joke!
It really happened, you see,
And it happened to me.
