Heather Krebs Praying the Promise The storm was at a hurricane force, death seemed near at hand and my heart was overcome by fear and confusion. The winds and waves of trouble beat against my mind, I cried out in desperation, "Is there no hope, or no help?" Over and over, again and again. I prayed about the problem and what seemed the impossible odds. Just when the winds and waves were about to over flow me, behold I saw in the night sky, the Lord himself walking on the water. His arms were out stretched and His hand took mine. He who had promised never to leave me nor forsake me was there all the time in the midst of my trouble. Hope sprang forth, the winds and waves were calm and still peace came upon me as I focused upon My Savior instead of the storm. I claimed the Promise and no longer prayed the problem.
*All things work for our own good,
Though sometimes we don't see how they could,
Struggles that break our hearts in two,
sometimes blind us to the truth.
*Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
*So when your pathway glows dim, and you just can't see him
Trust His heart***
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart***
My family wrote this poem for me when I was lying into what turned out to be a six month coma.**
