A Place to Share

An empty room
Devoid of love
A darkness fills my heart,
Becoming one with emptiness,
Becoming useless parts.
But coming back
Because of hope
Becoming to a place,
Where knowledge looms
Where people care
Where I can show my face.
Knowing how I came to be,
Knowing what the cause,
Knowing that there's more who care,
Gives me moments pause.
I know, now, I can lift my head,
I know because THEY dare.
I know because I came upon,
Some folk who really care.
