Time
Time passes,
and yet, so slowly slips away;
before you even know it;
another life, friend or opportunity
has said "Good-bye" to today.

People come and then they go,
Good intentions often mean naught,
A person may leave your life, a close
friend, or so you thought. That hurts.

Even though time passes and
sometimes takes away the pain;
Jesus has promised to always be there and
never will he leave your side.

Time passes,
and yet, so slowly slips away;
before you even know it,
another life, friend or opportunity
