I Never had the oppertunity
To develop and grow normally.
I was born a healthy normal child
But my birth parents, manors were far from mild.
It angered them when I would cry
That's how I got my TBI.
But God was watching over me.
He gave me a new family.
Life with them was meant to be
I love them and they love me.
But I can't help but wonder why,
I had to get this TBI.
There is so many things I can not do
I want to fit in just like you.
I know that this will never be
Because its too late for me you see.
There is no cure for TBI
So don't hit your babies when the cry.
