As of August 8, 1996, when my daughter Donette's life was abruptly and unnecessarily taken form her, by a drunk driver, I made a promise to her and myself.

That promise, is to never let my daughter be forgotten! Her family will never forget her, as others tend to after time has past.

I will speak her name always and tell the story of her death, and when people are tired of hearing it, I will tell it again, and again.

I will talk about her life and how much we miss her. Donette loved life and she loved people, and she did not want to die.

Because of an irresponsible person, who "willingly" and "knowingly", made the choice to take the first drink and continue to drink for hours, and then get in an automobile and drive my daughter is DEAD.

Our family is in PAIN, because our hearts have been shredded.

Please save another family from the same GRIEF, we live with.
