My father was a Veteran of WW11, Korea and Viet Nam. He died suddenly
from a massive stroke. This was his second in the past year. My family
has a history of atherosclerosis, stroke and arteriovenous
malformation(AVM). Unfortunately they fail to understand and recognize
that the members who have have been diagnosed with AVM and stroke are
also Brain Injured, It is important that we become more educated as a
society, on the causes, treatment , prevention and research that is
available to everyone. We never know our day or hour..."if only" are
regrets we have to carry for the things that we never said or did in the
present. My father was a gentle man...a quiet man. He was my
heart...and I miss him terribly.
