Shane C. Green

shane On April 8th at about 1:30 a.m., my son was killed by a drunk driver. The car that Shane was riding in failed to negotiate a curve, rolled over 3 times, tore out a water pump and finally came to rest on the porch of a house trapping its occupants inside. The wreck made such an ear splitting noise that people from miles around thought that there had been an explosion. The drunk driver, however scratched and dazed, walked away from the crash, uninjured. My son, not quite so fortunate, died on impact. He died from positional asphyxiation. His head was simply pushed into his chest, and he could not breathe. Imagine dying like that, all alone and unable to breathe. God , how I wish that had been me.

Shane left behind two beautiful children, who were 3 & 5 at the time. Those children ask so many questions about their daddy. I don't always have the answers, but I try. The moral of this story is DRUNK DRIVING KILLS. Please help me fight DRUNK DRIVING.
