we live in a little bush town in Australia , we run a sheep station named ( lonepine) David went to a little school in our town and was just starting year 8, he was 13 at the time. David and his sister Rebecca , left for school at 5.30 am it was a long bus trip to town and the school they went to, at 11.38 i got a call to come to the school but was not told what for , i was soon to find out that my son had been (assaulted) and was in a coma. we was air left tothe city and they we stayed for 8 of the hardest moths of our lives. at the time David was in a coma not know if he would every come back to us, one day he moved a finger , out of the blue we could see hope at the end of a hard road it took 3 more weeks for him to wake up and 5 more months before we could come back home , he still has no memory of what happen of that day and some time he still doesn't know me or his sister and when he is,the school never let him go back.

He can talk and walk after a lot of had work but has a bad temper and still cant read or write , and has no math , he also lost his hearing and sight , but still i am happy to have him with me today and we think we are very lucky, and grateful in the tbi chat room i have mad a lot of new friends and for that too i am happy thank you from me and my family
