I was a passenger in MY car and the driver had turned left (in Barling,Ark.) in front of an oncoming truck it was just starting to rain and the truck had hit me, we skidded and hit a tree and (I had fallen out),since the truck had CUT my seatbelt I nurse was going home and had stopped and covered me up and when the paramedics had gotten there they had FIRST gone to the driver Bcause she was screaming from a CUT and a BRUISE she had gotten from MY seat. and the guy driving the Pick-up had said "he WASN'T speeding" I have sped over that hill B4 and after my accident.

When Susan Hope had told the 'medics' "to nevermind her this one is worse". They had taken me to the Hosp. St Edward's in Fort Smith,Ark. There my parents were called in Colo, and was told that I SHOULD NOT live through the night. I had spent 3 weeks in DEEP 'coma and it had taken me 5 more weeks to wake up all the way was given a trach' and a feeding tube and HAD lost down to 145lb's, and was told by my mother that I was JUST 'SKIN AND BONES' Bcause of my height 5' 9".

After I had a wakened, and was told I COULD EAT,and that is what I did, and had gained ^2 170 (which was fine with me) in Feb. I was sent to (then) Fort Smith Rehab. across from Sparks Hosp. (The basements connect) there I SUPPOSED to have been HIDDEN from the driver of my car, She had found me. SORRY, that is what I do now I jump from one thing to another. I wanted to spend time at home and for 3 weeks I staid at home Then I was sent to Hot Springs Rehab. ,in where else (Hot Springs,Ark) there I had learned to walk and take it from me IF YOU HAVE A HORSE and you have had the injury and can't walk (or can but not good) ride the horse it IS HIP THERAPY and WORKS...... The horse HAS got to know that when you tap him with your right knee to go left and vice-versa. IT DOES WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm living proof and also living proof that 'DOCTORS' don't ALWAYS KNOW what there is about the brain... The Brain is like Space NOT ALL is KNOWN about it.

My parents were appointed my legal Guardians and NOW I am NOT ALLOWED to drive even though I CAN and HAVE. I had been put on Prozac' while in Hot Springs and then Trazedone when I was home I had to spend 2 weeks in a Pysh'ward in 1997. Mother STILL thinks I should be in a 'home' NEVER WILL THAT HAPPEN!!!!! I DO have a mind and so do YOU.
