I am a caregiver to a brother who is tbi his name is Gilbert Valentin and he was severely beaten, the result of this is three surgeries. he has been in a coma since nov. of 2000. lately he has been talking which is a good sign. he is living in a hursing home, i hope to be able to move him to a rehab.hospital.i get very frustrated at times but i will not give up! i come from a large family but the only ones who visit are my parents, myself, gilberts two daughters and his ex-wife. this makes me so mad! it also upsetts my parents. i have learned alot from the internet. i know the road is long and hard but i will continue down the "yellow brick road"thanks to all! god bless! carmen caregiver
