The TBI Chatroom |
All of us have experienced the ups and downs of life, but I have never experienced such as that of losing myself through TBI. Along the path there have been a few bright lights in the form of compassionate, caring people and I wish to thank all of them. For those that through their ignorance made my recovery more painful, especially those from the health care system, insurance industry, and legal system, I wish for them a chance to open their eyes and find some human compassion and understanding so that they may help others heal, not deter the healing.
I am one of the "lucky" ones that has fought long and hard to become a high functioning survivor, but understand all of the nuances that are expressed by every other survivor here.
After 6 to 7 years of this journey and much healing through time and alternative healings, I have found valuable information and love and support through the TBI survivors and caregivers on tbichat and tbisprt.
Thank you all for making my journey a little better.
Om,Shanti (I bid you peace)
