hi my name is charlotte and this story is about my son allen who is 8 years old soon to be nine . my son was fine until april 6 2001 when i took him to dentist for outpatient surgery for some minor dental work brought home and later that night started having sezures and small strokes which caused lack of oxygen to brain which caused brain damaged. since then he does alot of therapy and is curently in wheelchair has alot of muscle tone in legs and not much trunk support. he is progressing slowly and is doing very well he remembers riding hes bike and roolerblading he hasnt forgot . some times its hard to find something to take the place of running and playing.im linked to some resurces but would appriciate any feedback from any one who is in my sons shoes or mine thank you so much sincely, desperate mother for info
