Hi,I'm now 47 yrs old and in 1998 I was hit with a over head cran cable in a steel plant while on the back of my semi truck.I was hit in the back of my head push me into the side of my truck then when I some how struggled they said it hit me again.My injury was "closed head injury"TBI.From that day I have struggled to talk,walk,short term memory,cognitive problems,very fatigue,depressed,loud noises,big crowds,spells, angar spells,took time to find the right medicine to keep them under control.I found the right doctors four yrs ago and they are great.Things have been improving slowly.I have been learning words like patients,praying,time,positive thinking,and fighting to over come the depression.I have found that I will not be a quiter and let this keep me down.I have a great husband,children,and friends who are there for me.But I have also noticed that even though they are there it is still hard for me at times I feel a lone.Where I live their are TBI clubhouses But I am just now trying to drive and most of them are forty mins.,to an hour away from me.All my thanks go to the prays that went out the day this happened thats why I keep fighting to get better my angles were there.
