I was a school kid in West Germany at a United States Military base. Afew days after high-school graduation I was driving too fast with no seat-belts.Irolled on a corner and went head-first through windshield. "Bla Bla Bla" Anyway I amokay now and my main handicap is forgetting what hapened a little while ago. Havinga SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS is an invisible handicap. It is good in a way yet difficult at times.

About myself .. I workgood with woodshop tools. I created a unique table over twenty years ago. I alsomade a lamp on the lathe and it has 3 rings stuck inside it. They move about freelybut can not be taken off of this lamp. They are stuck unless destroied. I also madea bed after I had my head injury. I was in this Vocational School and was alowed todo as I wanted because the instructor did not know where to put me.

I was his firstever handicaped student. He let Me do as I wanted. In no time I made chess-boardsthe size of tiny coasters which You put cups on. Then I designed/madethis unique table. I told Him that I made a bed in high-schoo. Noble Sonoda told meto make a new one .. and that He will help if needed.

This bed is really neat. Itlays in very center of my large room >> with posters surrounding it. I pull out 3drawers on each side. I made ths in late eightys .. many years before the 6 drawersbecame popular. I use front and back o head-board, front and back of foot-board, 3drawers on each side, and hidden storeage in between their backs.

I have TV, 2 videorecorders, 2 speakers, video tapes, and an empty compartment with adjustable shelf.. INSIDE my footboard. The back and I am tring to get through to the Oprah WinfreyShow so I can ask if She can have a show with %100 of the audience being survivors. I am a poster freak. I can rearange them very well. Way back in '76 when we moved toGermany I filled my first room %100 with posters. Since then I have relocated and filled 8 different rooms. My last one is the coolest.

Iam tring to make my unique furniture on the OPRAH WINFREY SHOW. Maybe every survivorout there can e-mail Oprah Winfrey and tell Her that a survivor wants to put together unique furniture on her show with surviovors filling every seat >> andshowing their ideas also. We could have an Oprah Winfrey Episode where survivorsFILL the seats. E-mail Oprah and ask if this can be done. She has the most guts ofall the talk shows.
