Doug "it happens"
Hello. I am a victim of a drunk driver. On 7-16-03 I was hit by a drunk
driver at 80 mph. It was 1:30 am and I was on my way home from work. I am a veteran
firefighter EMT1A and I have worked in law enforcement for 20 years until my
accident. I was trying to extrecate a man out of his car on the highway. He had been
involved in a accident with a semi truck and he was trapped in his vehicle in the
middle of the highway. His auto had a fire under the hood and I did what I could to
gain acces to him. However before I could a drunk driver hit me standing square. I
went down on her hood and flew a long distance and rolled down the highway. I broke
my left leg and tore a chunck off my left leg. I nearly cut my rt ear off and
crushed my rt clavicle and sternum. I crushed my left wrist. I fractured mt rt
skapula and I fracture so many more bones. I also had a open head injury. I take
medication for seizures. I have had 14 operations. I invite you to learn more about
