I am a 49-year-old woman living in Edmonton with my husband of 29 years and our 2 teenage daughters. I had an aneurysm in 2002 and was given a stroke by the doctors which paralyzed my left side. Life is difficult but we live in an assisted living apartment building on 97 St. I would really like to correspond by e-mail with another brain injury survivor and feel I have a lot to offer.

This all started in 2000 with a berry aneurysm that hit me out of the blue. It is supposedly hereditary. If so, I have all the bad genes in my family as I am also the only one with MS which has fortunately remained somewhat benign for many years. Oh well - faith in God and a loving family has gotten me through thus far and I continue to rely on it a lot. Thanks for listening.
