It all started Aug. 24 1999, it began as a normal school day. After school a fellow schoolmate named, Corey was picked up by his step dad. His step dad came on a regular basis to pick Corey up. On this particular day his step dad had took a certain type of medication and it made him drowsy and unalert. Everyone saw his step father falling asleep in the Rav4, but no one thought anything of it. We all just thought he was a little sleepy and passed it off as nothing big.

Corey lives about 30 minutes away from the school in a smaller town. Corey never thought that that day he would have a near death experience.

On their way home Corey's step father lost complete control over the automobile, leaving them rolling several times across the highway and crashing into the guardrail on the opposite side of the road. Corey died about 4 times on his way to the hospital. The paramedic said he was dead upon arrival. Corey had torn his arm ligaments and had a severe brain injury. His outlying layer of the brain had been torn and damaged, leaving Corey helpless and alone.

Corey's strong faith in God and amazing closeness with God helped him get through his hard times. It has been 7 months since the accident and Corey was recently released from the hospital and recovering at a astonishing rate. Everyone that knows Corey knows that he is a amazing little boy and that his faith in God has gotten him far. Corey's website : http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/9332/prayforcorey.html

He would love it if you went and read about him and showed your love and heart warmed thoughts.

Thank You for your time.
