Our son, Jonathan, suffered a cerebral hemmorhage due to an arterialvenous malformation on the eve of his 19th birthday, May 14, 1998. At day 74 he is still in coma but has brief periods of minimal consciousness. We are hoping he will transfer soon from the hospital to a comprehensive brain rehab facility. Respiratory and other infections continue to be problematic. Would love to read about others who have survived TBI due to AVM.
