Kevin "vint" Harrison

Kevin I had just spent about a year in Steamboat Springs, CO opening a ski and bike shop. I had come down to Ft. Collins to visit some friends, and was heading back up, about a 3 hour drive up a canyon. On May 12, '97 in my trusty '78 Subaru I decided to take a '97 Dodge RAM pick up head on. I lost, wound up in the hospital for 6 weeks, managed to missplace my spleen, break all the ribs on my left, about 6 cracks in my skull, and a few other things. I don't have any memorry of that day, or of about 3 months prior to the accident, it's kind of frusterating since I had moved out of the mountains, where I had lived for 8 years, and got engaged to be married in that three month period. I remember deciding to ask Jem to marry me, but the actual proposal.... and It was odd being used to living in a mountain community, and waking up from a coma living in a city. But I was lucky, if getting hit in the peach at all can be called that, but in Ft. Collins there is a great brain injury rehab place, Brain Injury Recovery Program, or BIRP. So the wedding went off with a slight delay due to my stunt, about a year, or maby I was trying to escape marriage, nah, marriage is pretty awesome. Now we're getting ready to move to Georgia, where my wife will be a professer of statistics. And then we'll see where life takes us from there.
