Kim Munro
my name is Kim Munro. I live in Troutman NC. I was involved in a head on collision with a drunk driver in Dec.1991. I was in a coma for 4 to 5 months. The drs cannot give an exact time because I was so gradual coming out of the coma. I was in both the hospital & rehabilation for 9 months. I had to learn to do everything all over again. My husband at the time could not put up with my handicapps at the time plus he had to start doing around the house and helping take care of not only me but the 2 children as well. He was used to me doing everything, but now he had to do it. I was an apartment manager at the time of my accident but we the company finally gave up on my returning, the hired a new manager and start charging my family rent on the apartment. My family moved out and rented a house closer to his job, his family, and of course closer to the woman that he was running around with. He never gave me a chance to prove myself. I was getting better but he didn't think so. I moved to the western part of the state & lived with my mother. This was hard for me & her because i had moved out at age 18. I had proved that i could work , go to college, and enjoy my life all at the same time. i met my husband while attending college.. more needed to complete story.
