The phone call every parent prays they will never receive came to Richard and Nancy Ernst of Angels Camp, CA at 11:45pm. "Your son Kraig has been in a serious auto accident and is not expected to live. Please hurry to the Hospital Trauma Unit".

The neurosurgeon spoke the words that still echo, "We've done all we can do. We can't do any more for Kraig and there is little hope that he will live."

Richard and Nancy stood in the ICU room and proclaimed before the doctors and trauma staff that Kraig was a child of God. "God is the great physician and healer, and our faith is in Him."
