Lee Bailey
I am Lee Bailey, was in a life or death accident on December 12, 1998. Have had ALLOT of speech therapy, and am now in Honolulu Hawaii. The accident haappened in Abilene Texas. I was in a pick-up truck, passenger, the truck lost control on the freeway on some ice, and rolled off the road several times, I was ejeceted from the truck WITH my seatbelt STILL on, God tookk it off(I am SURE of this!!). I am a Christian, was during the accident, the driver was NOT a Christian, God spared his life, an mine too!, I got ZERO broken bones, but a dislocated left wrist, and a HUGE smack on the head. I can NOT remember the accident, never will. I lost ALLOT of memories of time during 1998, allot of the important stuff is still in my head. I WAS in college, a Church Ministry major, Communication minor. Now I am taking ONE summer session class at Internation College, it is WAY HARD for me too! I plan on finishing my degree, but need to heal FAST so I can get the $ aid I need for school! Now I suffer mainly from short term memory loss, and no proper judgement of common every day stuff. I am going through another therapy session with Cory(therapist), she is nice, but I just can NOT find ANYONE else who has ANY clue as to what is the matter with me!, or even want's to understand! I almost died, my brain swelled up so bad, they had to do some stuff, not sure what, but some "stuff" to keep me alive, I was in a coma for 11 days. I spent December 25, 1998 out of my "still out" part of my coma in the hospital with family. Bummer, lemee tell ya! I just thank God for sparing my life, and letting me have another chance to do what He want's me to do in life. Please write me back for comments, suggestions, or concerns. Thank you!
