My husband 27yrs old suffered a intracranial bleed due to an avm on 9/29/98. He had surgery to remove the clot and to repair the veins that were damaged. After surgery he remained was left paralyzed on his right side. he spent one week in intensive care sedated so his brain could start to heal. I am pleased to say that one year later and a lot of therapy he is doing well. He is only left with some weakness in his hand and wrist. He is presently in therapy to strengthen and reduce the tone in his fingers.
