i was in a car acc. in 98.it was mysef and my 2yr old son at the time.i was on my way to my wic appt..i was stopped at a red light in the far left lane when a car comming off the off ramp ran a red light..she says she went to slam on her brakes,but instead she slammed on the gas.she hopped over the center divider landing air born on the top of my hood.the front of her car came through my windshield knocking me unconcious..my 2yr old son was in the back seat in his car seat..luckily nothing happ. to him just some bruises on his chest from the car seat straps.the ambulance had to prior me out of my car aair lift me to the hosp..i was in coma for 32 days.my lungs callapsed,i got ards a disease of the lungs,pnomonia,i was not doing well...my brain pressure was very high.. i had my neuro surgeon crying to my family saying..ive never seen brain pressure this high snd somebody surviving and not being a veg.to say the least im here doing wonderful..yes it took a lot of hard workbut im a very stubbern person and i wanted to get better.i was only 17 when i got in acc.well thank you for taking the time to read my story...
