Here are T.S., MacDuff and Duncan Routson showing off after their TV commercial taping at an independent station in San Francisco. No, they did not make a fortune--their stage Mom (Mims who is sending a photo of herself soon) was able to arrange an appearance (she would have paid the station!) for them. The station does a segment every half hour featuring dogs and cats in the area to advertise the station--there is a TV set to their right and they look at it all at once (because someone makes a very loud noise behind it) and the TV station logo appears.Mims was (is) a volunteer for Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS) in SF, a group that helps AIDS patients keep their animals longer by walking them, taking them to the vet, feeding them and general fund raising. At the dog show at the Cow Palace, the TV station takes registrants and draws names for pets to be filmed to appear, hence Mims came armed with photos when she worked the PAWS booth. It was lots of fun for all 4 of us!
