It was Novemeber of 1980 when I had my life change experience that put me in a wheelchair for life. So I needed to accept that I'm in a wheelchair for life. I remember the night of my accident. I made my actions happen. I simply blocked out reality from what happened. All due to smoking pot and driving under the influence. I did not even expect to live onto the next day. I was in the hospital a long time maybe a year and a half. I am happy I was given the chance to make the world understand and really feel TBI is an experience that you will have all your life.
