The TBI Chatroom |
Hello to you all from New Zealand (or Aotearoa or 'Land of the Long White Cloud')
I thought it was about time that I wrote to let you know how I gained my TBI. It was while I was a front seat passenger in a motor vehicle accident back on 29th March 1992. I was practically left for dead and I was in a coma for the following three weeks, and I then had to learn how to walk once again.
To read my full story you are more than welcome to read it on the Brain Injury Association of New Zealand website which address is www.brain-injury-nz.org and it is under the 'Discussion' heading.
By reading BIANZ website you will then realise how wide spread this injury can be around the world.
You are more than welcome to get in touch with me if you wish.
