I was hurt at work when Iwas removing a blind flange from a cold water system on a chiller unit that was not to have pressure on it. It had pressure on it when I removed the bolts the flange blew off and hit me on the right side of my head in my right eye and right side of my brain. I am lucky to be alive the osha. report said the flange hit me at 150 mph. I was taken to local hospital and transfered to another hospital. I was in a coma for a week and had to learn how to talk walk ,eat , drink, write and read. I had the right lens removed and new lens put in and I had a blood clot removed from my brain then I was in hospital fore another month and then went to rehab for one year and then went home and went to rehab in my home town it was nice being home with my lovely wife and dugther it is different my doctor said I can't work any more.
