my name is shannon sherrell. i am a 34 years old female. i suffured my tbi when i opened the car door of our moving van. we were going 40mph. i was in a coma for a week and in the icu step down unit a usa medical center in mobile al, where i live. i am from mississippi, my recovery is going so well that i am going back to college in the fall of 2004 this year. i have a wonderful doctor and my husband is awesome too. i don't have any significant problem. i have had eye surgery to correct me being cross-eyed. i only have a little problem with my left arm, as well as needing thing explained to me several time. i am very greatful i found the chat rooms
