I was hit by a van. The man was playing with his cell phone. I did not know for five years that i had a brain injury. I thought I was going crazy. I have benn trying to get better for many years. I feltlost and out of control. After i got diagnosed I felt a sense of releif knowing I was not going crazy. I go to PT and OT three times a week. I aslo go to cognitive therapy. I have only been going for 4 months. I is wonderful to fianlly get the help I so depeartely needed. If you live in Westchester or ny and need info on programs for people with TBI.
