I was 19 and I was involed in a car accident in 1999.... May 6 to be exact.... I was hit by a truck that was driving w/ out his headlights on..... he hit me on my side... I was at a stop sign... but sice he didnt have his headlights on i Couldnt see him coming! so I pulled out ! He was going 70 in a 55 zone.... I wasent wearing my seat belt LUCKLY.... or I would of been killed instanly.... I was knocked on the passenger side floor.... into a COMA for 2 and a half months... Broke my pelvis, spleen ruptured, ALL my ribs broke, my lung collaped, had a trake, had to learn how to walk, talk, write go to the bath room, ect all over again....... BUT it could of been WORSE...... i know i was lucky...... Ive had i great family of SUPPORT..... Ive NEVER been to a support group.... I just got a computer last year... SO im new to all this stuff.... The doctors ALL told my parents I would NEVER be able to work again... BUT i proved them WRONG!!! I got a full TIME job not even a year after my coma!!!! and been there for 4 years! I ve had to take medical leaves .. because of depression.... but other than that IM okay..... IM STILL On ALOT of medication.... and I wish that would have never happened.. I had alot of deams right after graduation and they all got CHANGED BIG TIME!!!!!!!! but as I said IM still lucky to be here thats 4 sure!!!
