Well I suffered my TBI on March the 5th of 2005 and to tell you the truth I wasn't driving I was the passenger and I really don't remember any of my accident but I have been told about it.I was told that we crossed over in to oncoming traffic and was what they call T-boned which is basically a head on.The driver of the truck I was in wasn't hurt but I was.I suffered what they call a diffuse axonal injury to my brain and this was a TBI (closed head injury).I was in a coma for 3 weeks.I broke my pelvis in several places and I fractured my face in several places my skull was also fractured in a couple places.I almost lost my ear I had to have it sewn back on.I also broke my collar bone and my femur which now has a pin in it.I was in the hospital a total of 7 weeks.I had to relearn to do just about everything talk,swallow,eat,and walk along with doing things for myself.This journey hasn't been easy for me I don't have any friends they all left me when I came out of the hospital and the driver of the truck is my husband we have been married for 3 years and since this happenend he has seperated himselve from me so we are seperated and he wants a divorce because he says I'm not the same and he has enjoyed his freedom since I've been hurt and I am just really having a tough time right and would love to have some friends and some support so e-mail me please!!
