Thomas Kelley

I was born in Rhode Island on January 12, 1968 . My mom is French and my dad was American. Lived there until I was four years old. Then we moved to Naples, Italy when I was four. I spent until 1988 there for about 17 years there. I did my schooling there and my A.A. there. Then my dad died on February 26, 1988. So, my mom , my sister, and I moved to Pensacola, Fl. I never heard of Pensacola before, but it had A seaside, good seafood, a navy base with hospital, and a university. Yes, I got my B.A in psychology at University of West Florida. Since Mar 1993 , I have been working at First Data Corpation . I now am a operator for calls from MCI that come from Haiti which I have to speak French, Creole, and English. I speak those languages and understand Italian fluently too.

Then on July 26, 1997 I had my DUI accident and was in a coma until August 12, 1997 . I am now better and at work again. But I have brain injury. So , I am considered invisibly handicapped which means I am considered handicapped, but you can't see that I am. I am now president of the brain injury support group here in Pensacola. Besides all that, I write my poetry. And in my future, I want to go for a degree with something that I can help others with brain injury.

The way I patched up my memories is I mixed the past of long ago with more of my current pass. I really thought that my sister and I got this strange disease and were flown from Italy to Pensacola for some testing. My dad did not make the flight , he died on his way. But my dad already was dead years ago. But when I got better , or so I thought , I was sent back to Italy with my sister and had a job driving a car(sort of strange, since my accident was a car accident). I went to my old high school and not only saw my high school friends, but my friends in Pensacola all together. It was really weird when I thought that next to Naples, Italy was a new city named Pensacola, Italy and that the newspaper called the Panorama was changed into the Pensacola Newsjournal. But as I continue to improve, my memory regain itself in the right order. I still have some memory loss.
