Update January 2007

 I Am Doing good. Have A Girlfriend for 9 months Now. 
 She is a Very Nice Girl. She Has the Same Problem. 
 Its Good To Find Someone who understands. 
 Her Name Is Debra xxxxxxxx. 
  
 We Have our own Place thanks to my Brother.

Well its Been Awhile Since I checked In. 
 Today's Date is 7-19-2006. It is allmost 8 years since my accident. I am Doing Ok.
I have a Very Nice New Girl Friend It Looks like it Will remain Permanant. She Is
Very Nice and I Love Her Very Much.  
 The Brain Is Doing Better and Better Thru Time. 
Still a struggle with Short term Memory. I still Struggle 
Daily. 
 Making Good Friends On The TBI Chat room. We met Al from Australia. It was Very
Nice. I am sure we will remain good friends. We also Have met a few others Steve
and Audrey.

  I Have also Had Help With the Disability Stuff From Quite a few Hospitols. St.
Anthony's General Hospitol of Denver took me first on and A few others after them.
I still am in close conversation with doing Volunteer work for the Brain injury
association of Colorado here in Denver. 
 Well Good Luck to all. 
  Many Prayers for all. 
   We hope all recover as good as I have Or Better.

Well, I am Doing good In recovery at 7 years. 
 I Had a Motorcycle accident, Influence of alcolhol, 
  Slipped bike on fresh rundown of sand at intersection on 
   a corner of entry to Highway. Hit mile marker with 
    forehead and went flying down to other direction of 
     highway. 
Other Direction of Mountain Highway was 60 feet south. Down 
and 20 feet in legnth of how far horizontal. Youch. 
 
 I went into Coma. Had Lung Collapse. Shattered parts of 
  spine.  
 1/2 the Brain Came out of coma at 3 1/2 days. 
 The Left Half took 3 1/2 Months To come out of coma. 
 I got tremors to left side of Brain Right side of Body. 
 They are Mild at this point of recovery. 
 Took 6 Months after final coma stage to Walk again. 
  
 My Family Helped Immensely on Recovery. Very Nice. 
  
 Went to 3 Hospitols. Dont remember first one at all. 
 Spotty Memory for 2nd and 3rd. 
  
 Took 2 1/2 years to get Licence to drive. 
 I had to Be Free of seizures for over a year. 
  
 Recovery in Begining was Rough. 
 Got Better in a few Years. Still improving today. 
 Hoping with Many Friends and Family Prayers and Blessings 
 I will do Good.
