In January of 1999, I was a victim of assault and battery. He, (the assailant) repeatedly smashed my head against the brick sidewalk, on a crowded public street, in broad daylight in Boston, MA.
There was two really nice women who saw the whole thing and reported it to the police, thanks to them he went to prison and was given 2 felony counts of assault.
I cannot remember much of 1999, I do remember that I got in touch with the TBI Chat line and I felt so much better. Everyone was so nice to me, I felt like they were pcs. of string that eventually made a safety net for me.
