hi, my name is vicky. i'm the mother of 5 children my 12 year old became very ill at 6 years old,his liver started failing and his brain was swelling from the toxins being relesed by the bad liver.chris got a transpkant in 1995 but the damage to his brain could not be fixed. we still don't know what happened to him they tell us it was a virus of some type and that we'll never realy know.chris was in the childrens hospital for 5 months and rehab for 3 months he came home not able to even sit up all he did was stare into space.we worked hard for a number of months and brought in everyone we thought could help our son,he made alot of progress and so have we chris has learned to breath on his own again and eat without tubes he now walks and talks alittle and he even smiles alot he still has a long road ahead of him and so do we he still has trouble with fine motors and speech and his temper is terrible we pray that someday the rest of these hings will come together for him and that he may have a wonderful life after all. if there's anyone who has anything that could help us to help our son with his temper or anyone who can relate to our ordeal i'd be grateful to hear from you thanks for listening it's nice to know there are people like all of you around.Email vicky
