The mirror of the second car hit Brooke in the head. My sister called me to come and pick up the baby who was 6 months old at the time. And told me that Brooke had been hit by a car and was really bad. I lived about 10 miles from her and jumped into the car and rushed over there. I cried out Brooke's name and the ambulance attendence worked so hard to save her life. I took the baby home with me and Dianna left in the ambulance with her little girl.
My husband and I took the baby to the hospital. Brooke wwas already in surgery to save her life. The doctors tols us that there was no way Brooke would make it and we told them that they did not know this child, she has always been a fighter. We have to teach her everything again, but she still knows everyone and listens to our every word and smiles and even laughs at us.
One night I was there and we were putting her to bed for the night. She looked up at me and mouthed I LOVE YOU. The tears ran down my face. She is God's little angel. Also, her mother took her to our church and there was a man in a wheelchair, he too had been hit by a car. He asked many question about Brooke and we tried to answer him. Two weeks later he came to church with the biggest smile on his face. Out in the parking lot sat a new car fixed up so he could drive. He said that if that sweet little girl could do it so could he. Brooke has touched many hearts with not even trying.
She is God's little angel and He is working through her. Maybe her story can help others. My name is Wanda, I am Brooke's aunt and I have been there. We are all so proud of her. I will pray for you all you have to do is ask.
God be with you.
