Wanda "Aeidn" Moncrief

I was insurance agent working in the field. As I was going into a home of an elderly client I was assaulted by a teenager and beaten in the head and other parts of the body. I now have a Traumatic Brain Injury. This happen Jan 8, 1998. I'm still not able to return to work. I'm still on Worker's Comp and Disability. I have organizational problems, short term memory loss, and problems retrieving information.I have problems walking, I stay cold, my vision in my right eye is a mess. My personality has changed. I can't plan a menu. I like things now that I never liked before. I'm more artistic and witty. In some ways I love my personality I have now more than before. Still I miss my life. I'm not depressed, I'm moving forward. Anyone out there with this problem knows how difficult this is and multiply it by 10 when you have to deal with Worker's comp and their attorney's and nasty allegations. Fortunately I have fabulous doctors. I would be glad to email anything I have learned about TBI and the insurance laws that bind us all to the life of misery.
